I love to know about humans, their nature, personalities and more. Because it helps us understand the persons around us and then have good acquantance with them. Even learning about our own personality helps us find out our weekness or strengths. I have written about online personality tests and I am happy that the readers of this blog like the format of this blog and they offer me guidance also. I would be reviewing few more sites which offer FREE online personality tests. The first one is suggested by one of readers of this blog.
What is Myers-Briggs ?
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment is a psychometric questionnaire designed to identify certain psychological differences according to the typological theories of Carl Gustav Jung as published in his 1921 book Psychological Types. The original developers of the personality inventory were Katharine Cook Briggs and her daughter, Isabel Briggs Myers. They began creating the indicator during World War II, believing that a knowledge of personality preferences would help women who were entering the industrial workforce for the first time identify the sort of war-time jobs where they would be “most comfortable and effective”
Personality type can help you work better with others and manage your own work.
41 Questions get to know your personality type in 41 Questions, based on Myers-Briggs/Jung typology.
It is 100% free test, and they suggest that “For reliable results, it is important that you answer the questions for yourself with how you feel – not how you want others to see you.”

Yes, the Myers-Briggs provides information about our personalities that can be life changing when we understand what personality really is….an instinctively imprinted set of behaviors that provide us with “preferences” for some behaviors over others.
I’m a MBTI consultant and have seen what a knowledge of type can do in terms of helping people pick better mates, save marriages that are struggling, pick that perfect career, find a major course of study, better understand how to raise kids…the list just goes on an on!

Thanks Ken! —- for your interest in my post and comments.
Self help knowledge can help us imporove ourselves and it can bring positive change in our lives. I was very much anxious about my personality and when I knew about it, I tried to develop myself by doing “meditation” and I am happy to announce that I am getting “the best” and “positive” of myself, which helped me to have good relations with everyone around me, including family members.

@Ken
Isn’t it more than just preferences over one type than the other though? I always thought that it was more absolute than that. Meaning you are definitely either an introvert or extrovert. Your statement makes it sound like you may lean towards one side but exhibit the other sides characteristics as well.
